Overview

Capital Region is a non-profit organization that promotes professionalism in the Water, Wastewater and Industrial Waste Industries of Louisiana covering, West Feliciana, East Feliciana, East Baton Rouge, Livingston, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Tammany, and Ascension parishes.  Our membership consists of approximately 350 individuals from both the public and private sector including executive presidents and vice-presidents, managers, superintendents, supervisors, foremen, operators, mechanics, machinists, electricians, computer technicians and laboratory personnel.

The purpose and goal of Capital Region is to:

  • Promote the professionalism of Water and Wastewater Operators
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of information
  • Provide training and the proper certification that is now required by many federal and local Environmental Protection and Quality Agencies

We also strive to improve public service and the quality of life through safe water practices and environmental responsibilities..
